How Much Time Do You Have to File?

Typically, you have one year from the date of the injury. So, if your injury occurred on May 24, 2024, you will have until May 24, 2025, to file your suit.  If you do not file a timely suit in the correct jurisdiction, then you forgo your rights to collect on possible damages.
